Santa Cruz Photographer Featured in International Museum of Women’s Online Exhibit

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SANTA CRUZ, Calif., April 3, 2006 – Maginei, a Santa Cruz photography and marketing services company, today announced that “Balanced,” a combination of story and image, will be featured on the home page of the International Museum of Women’s ‘Imagining Ourselves’ exhibit on April 5-6 and April 11-12, and translated into French, Spanish and Arabic.

Imagining Ourselves captures the energy of the first global generation of women; photographers, painters, poets, songwriters and essayists from around the world provide their insights into subjects such as April’s theme of ‘Women and Money’. The project includes an online exhibit, global events, blog, and a book.

Kimberley Bermender, Santa Cruz-based photographer and founder of Maginei, is “thrilled to be selected as a contributor. The International Museum of Women and Imagining Ourselves have created a communication medium for women worldwide to share experience, using artists’ works as the guiding structure. To be included in such a groundbreaking project is an honor.”
